SECLUSION

Every friday night, she was out partying with her friends. But today, something had happened... she sat alone in her closet. The dingy place made her feel so much secure and peaceful. Surprisingly, this social bird did not feel 'left out' like she used to . Instead she enjoyed this seclusion. She was aware that her friends would not miss her. They never actually cared for her. She was just a source of entertainment and a shoulder to cry on. A few hours back, she was really wounded thinking of all this, but now, for once, she didn't give a damn! she broke-up with her guy, still she wasn't depressed.
However, the other side of hers played against this. she was curious to know what were her friends and her ex-guy thinking about. Did they really miss her? or were they partying and enjoying themselves , her absence being insignificant to them? did her guy find someone new for himself? or was he waiting to hear her voice? What was it anyway?
Suddenly, while all these questions were clouding around her brain, she saw a bright spot at the other end of her closet. The light hurt her eyes.
Was all this a dream? did her friends atually treat her so low? Did she actually break-up with her perfect guy?
Was the bright spot only a hallucination? Was it symbolic at all?
Or was it just a ray of hope because she really does care about what happened?
or does she?

when you say seclusion, did you mean solitude?
loneliness ?
one of being alone with no one in vicinity to sense your sorrow?
